Supporting Sport in our communities
Wherever our storage facilities are located, we like to really get behind the local community. One of the ways we are proud to do this is through our sponsorship of local sporting teams – the Sandringham Zebras footy team, and the Wilson Storage Souther Saints netball team.
We have sponsored the Wilson Storage Southern Saints and the Sandringham Zebras for the past 3 years. And to show our support and share our connection with both teams, we recently shot a couple of promos to help kick off their 2018 seasons.

Both teams brought their energy to the shoot and we had a fun day with them at our storage facility in Sandringham, and out on the field and netball court.
“The day of the photo shoot was pretty funny to participate in,” explained Zebras co-captain Kade Answerth. “Plenty of the boys were fixing up their hair regularly and we had to do quite a few takes because some couldn’t hold a straight face when we were meant to be serious!
“We are hopeful the videos will increase our exposure within the bayside region and get more supporters and locals to our home games at Trevor Barker Oval to cheer on the Zebs!”
The Southern Saints also had a great day with us, as Ross Payne, Club Treasurer explained.
“The day of the shoot was greeted with smiles and laughs when the players realised that they were to be filmed and the promo was to be distributed across the social media platforms. The players loved the experience and the insight into how a promo clip is put together.
“Wilson Storage Southern Saints are delighted with the finished promotional videos. The past and ongoing support provided by Wilson Storage shows how a successful long-term relationship can continue to grow. The video is a fantastic example of how the two groups can work together, to support each other. It’s a great way to start the club’s Victorian Netball League season.”
Our support of these teams means a lot to us. Making Wilson Storage a valuable part of our communities is important not only to our business but to our many customers who rely on us for secure, safe and reliable storage.
