Wilson Storage support V8 Supercar Driver Chelsea Angelo

Wilson Storage is proud to sponsor female V8 supercar driver, Chelsea Angelo who is racing in the Adelaide Clipsal 500 this weekend. Chelsea is an accomplished young driver who has had a successful junior career in Motocross and then karting, Victorian teenager Chelsea Angelo has embarked on the next step in her motorsport career with a move into the Formula Ford ranks in 2012.

Chelsea got her first dirt bike when she was just six years old and started racing at the temder age of eight. After three successful years of motocross at Nunawading and Frankston tracks Chelsea moved into karting at the age of 11.

Initially competing in club events at the Puckapunyal and then Todd Road circuits Chelsea showed her potential in her first year of competition with a win in her Club Championships as well as being named Rookie of the Year.

Whilst still in the Rookie class Chelsea entered her first Victorian Open title and qualified a remarkable second in a field of 40 before moving up to the highly competitive Junior National Light class the year after.

A string of wins and pole positions in major championships in both Junior National Light and Junior Max classes underlined Chelseaís undoubted ability and after being selected as a participant in the Arrow Rewards Program Chelsea made the jump into circuit racing in Formula Ford.

Joining forces with the successful Evans Motorsport Group ëYoung Gunsí program Chelsea will embark on a heavy testing schedule throughout 2012 with a view to making her race debut late in the year.

2013 will see Chelsea embark on a full season in the Victorian Formula Ford Series as well as entering selected rounds of the Australian Championship.

Outside of Formula Ford Chelsea enjoys jet skiing and her training. She also loves dancing and cooking.
