Sally‘s Ride

Sally’s Ride started in 2002 when Sally Fletcher rode 1,400km solo around Tasmania, raising funds for mental health in Tasmania. In 2009, in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Central Launceston, the event was expanded to include different cycling opportunities for riders of all fitness levels and abilities.

100% of registration fees collected will be directed to organisations passionate about supporting positive mental health in our community.

Richie Porte Joins Sally's Ride, Helping Further Boost Mental Health Awareness

Sally's Ride, returns for its 22nd year on November 24, with special guest Richie Porte. The event continues its long-standing tradition of supporting youth mental health and suicide prevention initiatives. This year, the ride is even more special, with the addition of an exclusive pre-event on November 23, An Evening with Richie & Friends. Cycling legend Richie Porte will also participate in the challenging 100km Sally's Ride, which will be his first time riding in the event. Tickets for the event are expected to sell quickly, and proceeds will go towards local mental health initiatives supported by Sally's Ride. Reserve your tickets today!
